how much?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling at the top of your lungs "Holy Shit...What a ride!"

Overhauling the space, plan on building a "tire changing station", garage for bikes, shed for scuba, computer room for computers, yard for pissin, I'll be all set.

Um...aren't those bikes already covered by...a garage?

Yes, but my babies need special treatment, I just put a hepa filter out there with them tooRhino wrote:Um...aren't those bikes already covered by...a garage?
I've been finding very tiny paw prints on the bike, the daughters cat is one from hell and I don't want it on the bikes.
I also plan on using these covers when I go on trips so it wasn't purchased JUST for use in the garage, when I park at a hotel I'll cover it. It won't prevent a theif from snatching it but they may be slightly less tempted if there isn't a dashing gsxr that catches their eye, plus rain and all that.
You should have seen the garage after I forgot a roll of paper towels out there, looked like a blizzard moved in, but it turns out it was just covered in a million shredded pieces of paper towel.

Re: Cyclegear bike cover sale
DO NOT use the covers outside if the wind is blowing! Ducati owners in Indy found that rule out the hard way.
Also, I use to park out side and covered my bike all the time. I noticed that the cover was wearing the clear coat off of the tail section and it lost some of it's shine. Tarps are great for dust, due, and light rain, but they can cause just as many problems as the solve.

I make sure I never park by bikes with covers because they turn into sails when the wind picks up. Also, bikes are engineered to withstand the elements. You'll never see one of my bikes under wraps. When I needed to hide a bike I got a storage unit.

Hey now I happen to know Blizzard and I think she is a fairly clean person. Just dont seem right to say that your garage looked like she moved in before you cleaned it up.

Yeah. If anything, you should say it looked like a snail moved in there. Re: Cyclegear bike cover sale
If she jumps on with the covers there won't be any lil paw prints, and they do make cat repellant that can be applied to the covers.Grinner wrote:Hey fix....just an fyi...those covers are gonna make it all that much more inviting to weee little kitteh!!!

Re: Cyclegear bike cover sale
Ah but here's the kicker. When the cat wants to jump on the bikes, and the cover is on them. The cat will use it's claws for traction on the covers. Most likely wripping the covers to shreds, and possibly scratching the paint with said claws.

I'm still confused at how this is a problem, while it's a waste of a bullet it is still the best solution....!

Why do you allow a cat in the garage? We were constantly chasing them out of our garage as a kid. Most of them eventually learned to stay in the back yard.

We also keep the food and liter pans out there, helps with keeping the house clean. Now if I could only figure out how to keep the kids in the garage I'd be set.

Ok, then, why do you let a cat in the house? ha! Cats belong in the barn in the back yard.

Don't have a barnDarcShadow wrote:Ok, then, why do you let a cat in the house? ha! Cats belong in the barn in the back yard.
But let me explain how this begins
Wife works as a dog catcher, she discovers they put down black cats because people won't adopt them, next thing you know, I get a black cat for my birthday etc.
Then its decided, enough is enough these ones need to die off, then, one of the kids finds a kitten under the shed... the rest of that story looks something like fixxer trying to play hard ass and turns out to be the bad guy and kids cry and well you know, I've got another damn cat cause mom got on the kid bandwagon.
