That's because you have no taste. :)

However if you'd like to do the financially responsible thing and buy a used ZX6R instead of a new FJR, I'd be happy to hook you up. :SideSplittingLaughter:

Yep. The Ninja is funding this bike and a DR350SE. I've decided supersports aren't for me, so I'm getting a sport bike I'll be more comfortable on and a bonus dual-sport bike for offroading. And I'm hoping to have a few hundred bucks in my pocket after the deal is done too.

Oh, speaking of Triumphs, who has TuneECU and a cable? The check engine light is on, but the bike runs fine. I'd like to pull the codes and see if it's anything important.

Depends. I don't have a plate yet, seller kept it. I should be able to swing by the courthouse tomorrow to take care of the registration, taxes, and title transfer. Inspection is still current, so if I can get her plated I'll be down for some riding.

She also needs new shoes. I might give Cycle Werkz a call and see if they can get me in. The ones that are on there have tread, but I have no idea how old they are. They certainly aren't qualified for track duty, and I'm not sure if I want to go bomb some back roads with them or just switch to sticky rubber.

I also need to swing by D&D Exhaust and see if they can sell me a silencer insert. She has a D&D can with the insert removed. I'm not a fan of loud exhausts like that, especially not on inline fours.

I have seen brand new FJR's out the door for around 10k. I'm good with that, and hopefully will be able to buy it cash in 2013 :-)

I've got the cable and software. We can check her out. I'm off work tomorrow and will be working on the car. If you've still got her loaded up, you can feel free to swing by. That or I can swing by your place sometime this weekend.

This has been tempting me the last couple of weeks. But I don't have the money, it's all been going toward paying down debt, so I can buy something next year. Clicky me.

That's a heck of a good price on a FJR, even with the high miles. It'll be good for at least 20k-40k more miles.

As for my Triumph, she'll be street legal by the weekend and I'll be out riding her, so I can swing by your place and we can plug her in.

Miles, the ZX isn't getting ridden anymore. I'm basically borrowing money from myself to buy this bike with the expectation of selling the Ninja. The worst thing I could do right now is crash the Ninja.

Give me a call tomorrow morning. After I get done working on my car in the morning, I'll be out riding myself.

New baby is the new track bike. The Ninja is going up for sale.

And honestly, I wish I had the DR350 already, I'd be taking the MSF class with her. If you guys have a good experience up there I'll probably hit him up to do a class for me. Either way I'd be glad to go ride with her. My plan is to spend some time at the park in Trophy Club practicing.

She goes Saturday. I will let you know how it goes. The course she is taking is the basic course. I believe they also have an advanced one as well. I will keep you posted on how it goes. And Fixxer is now wanting a dirtbike too....to go ride some trails (but you will beat him to it :D)

First time I rode a dirt bike was up in Trophy Club. It's a fun place to get out and play!

He should totally get one. Now that the Ninja and the GSXR are both pimped out he can start putting his toy money into a dirt bike.

Diving is for sissies anyway, he doesn't need to spend money on that. ;)
