New DFW rider
Hi,
My name is Fred. I know my screen name is misspelled, that was on purpose. I've been using the same handle since AOL first started.
I'm a California transplant. I've been in the area for 3 years. I rode a R6 in 2006. I sold it in 2012 before I moved to Texas. I had plenty of track and canyon time on my R6. I recently (fairly recently) picked up a new FZ09. I love the bike, but don't have anybody to ride with out here, nor do I know good places to ride. I did find some websites, but one of the best things about riding motos is being part of the community and experiencing the sport bike culture. I've been out of the loop for a while. I figured you guys would a great re-entry point.
I noticed a few of y'all are doing a ride smart track day in March. I'm thinking about tagging along. I also noticed y'all do a bike night. I'll have to plan around the next one so I can meet some of you.

Done. I posted the only pics I have of her. Since the close up pic, I've re-valves and re-sprung the front fork, upgraded the rear shock, akrapovich exhaust, fender eliminator, pazzo levers, and block off plates. She is a lot different now.LonestarCBR wrote:Better post bike pics before Miles reads this.

Okay, that was pretty good, I'll give you credit, as much as I hate it. Jackass.
