Too soon? I know it's a little less than 2 months away, but I'm getting anxious. I plan on working the corner on Saturday and riding the 1.7 on Sunday. Who else is planning on making this event?

I will have to see if this falls on a weekend that I have Sunday off.... although I would love to run Saturday.

Check the calendar, I show the 8th being Sunday, the 9th being Monday.

I'd like to go the 9th but I have to see how many days I have left to burn of vacation.

Thinking about it. Didn't say I wasnt, just that I was unsure of making Monday.

I should know by the end of this week if I can make either day. Depends on how much time I take off for F1 later in the month.

Oh damn. Sunday and Monday. I assumed it was the usual Sat and Sun and now I'm an ass. Looks like I will do the 1.3 as I have to work Monday and can't get off.

Yep, they pretty religiously start and end the season something like this...throwing you the Monday curve.

Back in the day, Mondays were all they could get at MSR. I actually liked it. With my flexible work schedule and the relatively low numbers at the track it usually made for an enjoyable day.

I hear you. The day I spent at ECR was "member's only", so there were very few people there. Probably a good thing...there was no one to run over my dumb ass when I fell off and found myself sitting in the middle of the track.

I might be at both days but if not Monday is almost definite.... I looked it up and I work on Sunday but might call in sick. We will have to see.

Thought it might be interesting to ride the VFR in the touring group on the 1.3 and the SV on the 1.7.

Sadly I might do the same. It would be easier to get off work and corner work than get off work and ride. Still unsure though and I love LOVE the 1.3.

You'll get quickly annoyed. The touring group is painfully slow, although, by the half way point, most of the cruisers usually leave so the track is pretty open.

Run the SV on the 1.3, you won't be disappointed.

The SV on the 1.3 is freaking GREAT. I loved it even with it being wet. I really wanna do it on a dry day.

11 days to go. Will someone have a spanner for the rear preload adjuster just in case? I think I'm ok, I'm on the stock 3 of 9, but just in case.

pre-load can be set well in advance, just keep tools on hand for adjusting damping
