ECR 07/17-07/18
so who so far is interested in doing ECR that weekend? I'm thinking of working the corner that Sat. I don't know if I'll have my new tires by then, and I have a 6 o'clock softball game that Sunday.

I just realized I'm going to be out of town that weekend. I might try and CW the Cresson date in early August, though.

Re: ECR 07/17-07/18
I'm thinking I might try to get on the track on satuday that weekend. I have a need to get back to the track that kicked my ass.
Random stuff I say:
Women are like square roots, if they're under 17 you just have to do them in your head.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis?

corner working consist of getting a short brief from Dave, then sitting on a corner watching the bikes go roundy roundy, and talking on the radio, and waving a specific colored flag when told. Thats about it.

My wife is making me take time off from work to go out of town with the family Which means that I will have to wait a little while before I request more time off to go to the track.

ECR this weekend 7/17-18
I just got word from Dave and it looks like I'll be presenting my new training video in Level 1 classroom on Sunday!
Does anyone else have plans to be at ECR this weekend?
I havent done any teaching since I taught MSF back in San Francisco 6 years ago! Should be fun.
Not looking forward to riding in 100°+ temps though. The track surface will probably be over 150°. Yikes!

Re: ECR 07/17-07/18
Seems like there is a 1 month or so back log. It wasn't like that the first time I signed up for CW. I Kept asking for dates and I kept getting replies back it's booked. So figured that you need to at last plan a month ahead of time.El Diabro wrote:Lucky dogg you when I received an email back they said they were full but they have a couple of spots for Aug I think...I know for sure I'm going to take Lvl 1 at ECR the weekend of Aug 21st and 22ndCreachcreach wrote:I'm signed up Sun 18th for CW.

Re: ECR 07/17-07/18
Hey Creach, keep some space by your truck and I'll park next to you (and vice versa if I cant find you).
Hey Shocker, what will you be driving? I'll be in a gray ford ranger and riding an SV650, Creach is in a black Chevy riding the GSXR with the wild paint scheme. We need to keep some space open so we can pit together.
Dave tells me that there are a lot of open spaces this weekend so maybe the pits wont be overcrowded like they were last month.

Re: ECR 07/17-07/18
Thanks! I'd really like to make it out again in August. I appreciated meeting you guys today (Creachreach and rc30fan). Thanks rc30fan for all your help today. I definitely noticed a vast improvement in my ability to corner. I'd love to see those videos some time.
