I hope it continues to grow, we are overdue for a revolution.Firewa11 wrote:The zombie apocalypse is coming folks, make no mistake. If you aren't prepared, you will become part of the zombie horde. They are taking the form of the "Occupy" movements...

Heh, we got change already, problem is we need real money in our wallets not just change
I agree, we are in definite need for a revolution. I'm sure a lot of you have witnessed companies that continue to cut back spending, lay off workers, send skilled jobs overseas with no impact to them but more financial gain... and create near impossible working conditions for those left behind, all while having record earnings and amazing profit growth.
Not saying I don't disagree with the need for revolution, especially as the worst effects of capitalism take root and create an oppressive class division. I'm not disagreeing with a lot of the points of the Occupy movement. But most of those in participation camping out are mindless, zombie-sheep. Problem is the Occupy movement is in the wrong place. They need to be Occupying Congress, not Wall Street. Congress has to answer to it's people. Wall Street doesn't have to answer to anyone but their shareholders.

I agree with that, but it has to start someplace, and this occupy movement is global. Even if most of them are slugs, it shows people are finally getting tired and starting to take notice of issues beyond just gay marriage.Firewa11 wrote:Heh, we got change already, problem is we need real money in our wallets not just change

Re: Occupy (Split from OMG! ZombieMax!)
Meh, the "occupy" guys are deluded.
Not only are they barking up the wrong tree, but there are so *few* of them. The Occupy Fort Worth movement pulled in something like 20 people, out of half a million who live here.
Firewa11 has the right of it, if you want to occupy something occupy Congress. Wall Street doesn't give a f***, and rightly so. Their job is to make money and sell all those cool clothes and electronic devices and tents and Guy Fawkes masks the occupiers are busy using.

anonymous and the occupy people need to get together and figure this shit out.

Women are like square roots, if they're under 17 you just have to do them in your head.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis?

The difference between your chain and ours is that we have a latch that we can just undo if we choose to roam free!Striple wrote:Says he who is moving in with his girlfriend...fireblade wrote:best you can do now is just run to the end of your chain and bark!!

We all have that same latch, it's just locked and good locksmiths are damn expensive.
