April Monthly Ride - SUNDAY April 15th

Weather is iffy, but we'll plan for the montly ride Sunday. We'll leave Sonic at 10:00am. Not sure on a route or time frame yet, but it'll probably be around a 4 to 5 hour ride with a lunch stop some place.

This will be a moderate ride, all are welcome, 2 up riders, new riders, experenced riders, even cruisers. So no matter who you are, what your riding, or how long you've been riding, feel free to come on out and join us.

i might be in. i'm kinda new to sport bikes and have never ridden any bike on a trip longer than 30 min or so, but i am off sunday and don't really have any plans. 10am is early for me; i work nights. which sonic do ya'll meet at?

Hopefully weather.com is correct this time. According to it, the rain (if it rains) is suppose to happen between 3am and 8am, which means come 10am, we will be in the clear!!!

Ok, have a route planned. It'll be about 6 hours, plus lunch so we should be back to the fort worth area around 6:00. There will be spots where people can split off early and find their way home rather easy if anyone needs to. We'll have lunch in Glen Rose around noon, I'd advise getting something small, riding fun twisty roads isn't much fun when you're stuffed.

Well, 10 for us is actually pretty late. Once the heat of the summer hits we usually leave no later then 8:00 and some times as early as 7:00. Hopefully you'll be able to make some summer rides, but if not I usually try to lead a short evening ride couple of times a month during the week after I get of work.

Certainly not for me...it was coming down hard here. It's nice and calm now, hoping it will dry up so I can ride later.
