Moderate ride - Saturday July 7th

If you've been curious about the track, this ride is for you

This is a moderate ride please be dressed to ride. It's going to be a hot one so break out the mesh, evaporative vests if you have them, and bring a camel back if you have one.

The meeting place IS NOT SONIC

Meeting place:
Waffle house
3020 Western Center Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX

Ride departs Waffle House at 8:10 am with you or without you, since we have a schedule to keep I won't be able to wait for people if they are running late, so come early and get some waffles.

RideSmart is putting on a track day at Eagles Canyon Raceway this Saturday and Sunday. We have a few people corner working and riding this weekend (I'll be corner working Sunday). This ride will take us up through some twisties and we'll try to catch a parade lap at ECR.

What is a parade lap? Well I'm glad you asked, if we arrive at ECR around 11:00 am and there are enough of us, we'll be able to talk Dave into letting us take a few laps on the track (slower paced laps not track day paced laps) at lunch time (their lunch time, not ours, we are eating in Ponder). This will give you a chance to get out onto the track and see what it looks like from the perspective of being on it, not watching from the stands.

We'll be eating lunch here, so go ponder over their menu.

Eating, I gotta get the rest of the info posted up like meet time and such but I've been busy at work today, wanted to at least get a place holder up so people could start making plans.

I'll be in full leathers. THe way i see it is....it takes just as long to put on full leathers as it does normal pants. Anyway you can shoot me a pm on the route? I don't mind meeting at waffle house, but that would be a total waste of gas and time.

How are you going to get your RLIT training in if you don't ride the full route? Partial rides don't count.

What's wrong, you don't like waffles? You slab it down to get breakfast and hang out with some good people, I'm sorry you see that as stupid
