yea, i knew about that after the fact. But my question is...if i have an aftermarket one on there now will they replace that one?

You might be able to get them to cover some of the cost of the replacement one if you still have all your receipts, but I doubt it.

I'm doubting you will get anything out of the dealer since recalls and such are items the dealership gets paid to do from the parent company along with warranty repairs. Which is why a dealer will send you all the info about recalls. They make money on them. It's definitely not out of concern for your safety. If it was they they would have to notify you on all recalls.

You might be better off calling Triumph directly. Tell them yours went bad before there was a recall issued. They might reimburse you.
