It's that time of year again, this makes our third year in a row. So I guess we should start calling it our Annual Toy Run. I have been in contact with the Tarrant County Foster Parents Association. We have set a date of Saturday Dec 15th. for the toy run.

This year we have been provided with some suggestions/wish list for the older kids in the program. Those of us who are parents know how difficult it is to buy for the older kids. Some of ya'll had asked about wish list and such last year. These are suggestions not requirements anything you could do will be greatly appreciated.

I will post the list here first (give club members first choice of kids to gift to) and after a couple of weeks I'll transfer it over to the Club Events Section.

Thank you once again for answering the call to help TCFPA with our Christmas Wish List. Attached to this email is a list of the children that have registered for our yearly Christmas Celebration. We tried very hard to see if we could get a wish request for older children (age 9 & up). Unfortunately, we did not get that many request. Therefore, we tried to locate a unisex item that we thought the older children would enjoy. Please feel free to change it up a bit if you like. I have also included a suggestion list for the children ages 9 & below. Please let us know if you have additional question and/or concerns with fulfilling the requested list. Again, we can not thank you enough for your generosity.



Suggestions by age group
10 to 12 months - blocks, interactive learning toys, musical toys, activity mat

12 to 24 (2yrs) months - riding/push toys, interactive toys, musical toys, plush toys/animals, mega blocks

Plus I figured the teenage girl would know what a teenage girl would like fashion wise. That's why I'd have to go to my sis-in-law. She's the hipster cool gal when it comes to shoes. If I can't figure out what to get her for christmas or her bday, I can always revert to a pair of Vans or classic converse.

I'm going to take one of the 10 month old girls as they can grow into the dress, and i have a stuffed animal for her as well. I will also take one of the 1 year old girls as well as I have a ball and a stuffed animal I can contribute to one of them.

Sadly I'm only a maybe for this. I'm scheduled to teach that weekend, but when it comes to winter BRC classes they don't always happen. If 3 students don't sign up the class gets canceled, and I don't necessarily find out until the Friday before.
