K&N filter pods, and rejetting will increase your HP by only 2-3hp. It will also increase the air in take noise. You will also save about 4-5 lbs in weight by completely removing the air box.

I think they may be the only ones you can get for the ninja 250. Its been years since I owned a 250 in not current on aftermarket part for it.

Now do I replace just the filter or do I remove the "snorkle" and put in "pod's ?

Yes! Remove the snorkle and replace with pods.

Ok, that's what I thought but when I searched, it also looked like K&N also offered a filter only to replace my factory still using snorkel
