I had a vortex and loved it. It protected my noggin as best it could. Definitely worth the price.

I'm still here because I'm super woman. The helmet just made me look good when I went flying off of the bike :D

Yes (no one could see my OH SHIT face)!!! :boobs: Actually, I was thinking of two things as I was flying off the bike: 1) of a particular part of a particular video Fixxer had shown me and 2) the song "Another one bites the dust" by Queen.

Aint it funny how you have so much time to think about things while flying through the air?

I've never gone airborn but as I tumbled down the tarmac I remember thinking

Gee.. wonder if my bike is dong this too...
I'm flipping too fast to see it..
well this blows, I just messed up my bike..
I hope it didn't tumble and just slid..

then I sat up to see my bike laying on its side.

I can remember when that was just about the only "premium" helmet you could buy. Heck, I think Evil Knieval even wore one. I think that was the only bone he never broke...the head bone.

Then you'll remember Vetter Windjammer fairings and Gold Wings with no fairing at all. I actually saw one sitting for sale last week somewhere, looked to be in pretty good shape.

My first helmet was one of the Easy Rider American Flag design open-face, complete with the rather stylish bubble shield. It was quite the two-wheel fashion statement. I'm sure I cut a dashing figure wearing it on my CT70 Honda.
